Our practice is currently listed with the NSW Heritage Office’s in their Register of Heritage Consultants and is well qualified to provide the following services in respect to Heritage listed properties :
- Heritage assessments and Statements of Significance
- Heritage Impact Statements and
- Conservation Management Plans
Our approach adopts the principles of the Burra Charter as laid
down by ICOMOS (Australia) but does so in a way that recognises
the ongoing adaptive use of a building, the owners functional requirements and financial imperatives.
Our approach to conservation is a well recognised one i.e. to do as much as is necessary but as little as possible to affect the existing fabric where such is worth saving.
